Student Organization E-mail, MyTulane and Web Accounts
- All e-mail, Web and MyTulane accounts are bound by University
policies, particularly the policy
on use of computers and networks.
- All organizations must register
with Student Programs at the beginning of the fall
semester in order to maintain their accounts. If you have not registered, or if your organization leadership has changed, contact Student Programs.
- Only recognized or provisional organizations may have Web site space, MyTulane accounts or e-mail accounts. To request an e-mail account and/or Web space for your
organization, use this form.
- To manage listservs you already own, use this website.

Student Organization Mail
- Recognized and registered student organizations are assigned a mailbox in the Student Organization Center in the LBC as space allows.
- Organizations must check their mail weekly and arrange for mail to be picked up during breaks.
- Any purchases, equipment or mail that won't fit in the mailboxes can be picked up at the Student Organization Center front desk.
Student Programs Events Listserv Information
- Student Programs operates a daily events listserv that organizations can use to publicize events and meetings, and to keep informed about campus happenings. The list goes out at midnight Tuesday through Saturday during the school year.
- To post on the Events List, e-mail your announcement to the list owner the day before you wish the announcement to run. Send non-formatted text only. Please read the Events List policy before submitting a message.
- To subscribe to the list, e-mail the list owner with your full name and e-mail address. Put "Subscribe Events-L" in the subject line.
Student Organization Resources
- Student Programs has compiled a list of preferred vendors for your organization's events.
- Storage, workspace, a meeting area and banner supplies are available for recognized or provisional student organizations in the Student Organization Center in the garden level of the Lavin-Bernick Center. Contact Jered Bocage, Director of Student Governance and Resources, for more information.
- Student Programs maintains a current list
of registered organizations and their advisers.
- The forms used by Student Programs are available online, and in hardcopy in the Center for Student Involvement and the Student Organization Center. Both locations are in the garden level of the LBC.
- The Designs for Success series covers issues from recruiting
organization members to planning an event to knowing University
policies. The series is available online, and in hardcopy in the Center for Student Involvement and the Student Organization Center. Both locations are in the garden level of the LBC.
